Moscow Sheremetyevo Airport as the best in Europe in 2012. In the ranking of Airport Service Quality Awards Russian aviation hub airports bypassed Malta, Edinburgh, Keflavik and Zurich.

Moscow Sheremetyevo Airport became the first in the category "Best Airport in Europe". In this list, he walked around the leader of last year — the airport of Malta, as well as Edinburgh airport, Keflavik, and Zurich.

In other parts of the world in the category "Best Airport in the region," the leaders were distributed as follows: in the Asia-Pacific region is recognized as the best airport of Incheon (Seoul), Africa — Cape Town International Airport, the Middle East — Abu Dhabi International Airport, in North America — Indianapolis International Airport, in Latin America — Mexico Cancun.

In turn, General Director of Sheremetyevo Airport Vasilenko said his team was able to accomplish the task to become the best airport in Europe for three years earlier than originally planned.

Awarding of winners will be held in Istanbul in June 2013.
