MOSCOW, November 7 — RIA Novosti. The number of victims of a landslide in Colombia has risen to 22, injured 17 people, said on Monday AFP referring to the statement of the local authorities.

Previously reported 14 dead and ten injured in a landslide.

The landslide came down on Saturday morning. The disaster led to the fact that under tons of earth and mud were at least 14 homes in Manizales, which is considered the cultural center of the Latin American country. The town has about 350 thousand people.

The landslide occurred as a result of heavy rains, which traditionally began in Colombia in late September. Since then, as a result of disaster killed 40 people, about 250,000 people have suffered damage.
