In Russia will establish a system of compulsory insurance against disaster

Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev instructed the relevant ministries, along with insurers in October to work out and submit to the government proposal to establish a system of compulsory insurance of property of citizens and legal entities of the damage caused by natural disaster, reported in the press service of the Cabinet.

Order signed after a teleconference on "The situation in the Russian regions affected by abnormally high temperatures in 2012," held on July 27.

"Ministry of Finance of Russia (A.G.Siluanovu), Ministry of Economic Development of Russia (A.R.Belousovu), Ministry of Regional Development of Russia (O.M.Govorunu), Russian Ministry of Labor (M.A.Topilinu) and the Ministry of Natural Resources of Russia (S.E.Donskomu) assigned to work with the federal bodies of executive power and with associations of insurers, as well as the earlier instructions to the establishment of a system of compulsory insurance of property of citizens and legal persons from damage caused by natural disasters, and to submit proposals to the Government in the established order. Term — 1 October 2012, "- the document says.
