According to the lawyer Tamara Sidorenko, an activist of the "Tell the truth" Michael Bashura possibly placed in a remand prison in Minsk Valadarski Street.
"The response from the police, I got a place of his detention isolator Volodarskogo said. Previously it was assumed that it will be transferred to the detention center Zhodinsky. And this is also possible. So now we find out where it is still transferred from the detention center in Akrestsin. Meanwhile, as falls BelaPAN entrepreneurs believe the arrest of an activist of the "Tell the truth!" 35-year-old Michael Bashura politically motivated. This was announced by the leader of the coordinating council of entrepreneurs in Minsk, Alexander Mac.
He noted that in the spring this year Bashura of the business unit was put forward as a candidate for deputy of Minsk city council.
"On behalf of the business unit and from the organizing committee of the solidarity movement" Together "we express our strong protest against the arrest of Bashura. We believe that the arrest of a part of his active citizenship; criminal case against him was inspired by intelligence agencies for purely political reasons. Therefore, we demand the immediate release of Bashura and call on all social and political structures to express their solidarity with him "- said Makau.
He drew attention to the fact that Bashura is a member of the Union of Belarusian Writers and the Belarusian PEN Center. "The situation, when in jail on trumped up charges put such people is completely unacceptable," — said the activist movement of entrepreneurial capital.
Makau said Now that behind bars are approximately 15,000 businesses, criminal cases in respect of which "mostly fabricated."
Bashura was arrested on August 6 in Minsk. He is accused of that a few years ago to get a loan allegedly granted an income statement, the amount of which has been overestimated. August 16 Bashurov charged with an offense under paragraphs 1 and 2 of Article 380 of the Criminal Code of Belarus (padroblivanne, manufacture, use or sale of forged documents, stamps, seals, forms). Activist faces imprisonment of up to three years.
