For reference: the opening workshop for the production of fiber-optic cable (FOC) by JSC "Electrocable" Kolchugino "was held on 30 January 2012. The implementation of the project to develop the FOC is a two-step process.

Since 2000, the plant operated shop number 4 for the production of communication cables in a plastic shell.

The shop number 5
Until the mid-90s were produced in the workshop, all 29 of the nomenclature of groups of products that the company produces at present. The shop retained the unique technology of communication cables in the paper and polystyrene insulation. Updating the production, development of new equipment, the introduction of innovative technologies and renovations at the plant — it started with the fifth shop.

Shop for metallotkatskomu production is a stable unit of the plant, which has modern facilities, flexible technology and skilled personnel to produce a wide range of metal mesh corresponding to the standards DIN. ISO, GOST, TU and dies used in the production of wire. Creation of production of metal wire mesh of micron required a large number of the finest instrument for this purpose in 1949, production was organized for the production of diamond fiber. Equipment and technology for producing diamond cut diamond fiber from the crystal to the finished diamond polishing dies were purchased in Germany.
At present, the production of diamond fiber uses modern laser equipment. The manufacture of synthetic fibers of the material of the brand COMP, raw materials for synthetic fiber is certified and has been certified ISO 9002, 1994.
