Review of the development program based fighter MiG-29K/KUB

The first landing on the deck located in the Barents Sea TAVKR "Admiral Kuznetsov" performed Sept. 28 at the experimental MiG-29K with board number 941 Head of Flight Operations RAC "MiG" honored test pilot of the Russian Federation Hero of Russia Pavel Vlasov. 

 

 

 

Behind him on the series "Spark" MiG-29KUB already painted in the colors of the customer, followed by test pilots RAC "MiG" Diorditsa Nikolai and Mikhail Belyaev. 

 

 

Within the past two days have been several deck landings and take-offs of both planes, which are practically confirmed the possibility of safe operation of the new fighters on aircraft carriers. It is noteworthy that the flights MiG-29K/KUB to "Kuznetsov" was held on the eve of the 20th anniversary of the first ship landings domestic fourth-generation supersonic fighters and became a sort of return "MiG" on the deck.
