One person was killed and about a hundred were injured during a violent storm in the southern provinces of China. Damaged thousands of homes, disrupted air traffic and traffic on highways, toppled poles and trees. Most damage caused by hail. Large chunks of ice pierced through the roof, knocked the glass. Because of the rains in some areas have gone landslides and mudflows.
The damage from the disaster was $ 40 million. The authorities have put in place rapid response plan — the victims sent tents, blankets, clothing. In the disaster area rescue squads arrived.
