Goncharik born 29 April 1940 in the village of Augustus Logoysky Minsk region.
He graduated from the Belarusian State Institute of National Economy (1961), graduate of the Academy of Social Sciences under the Central Committee of the CPSU (1976). He worked as an economist, Acting Deputy Chief Accountant of the farm "10 Years of the Byelorussian SSR," Luban district, Minsk region (1961-1965). He was awarded the Order of Friendship of Peoples, medals. He is married.
