Earthquake of magnitude 4.7 occurred in the west of China

Earthquake of magnitude 4.7 occurred in the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region in northwest China, about the destruction and no injuries were reported, according to the Xinhua News Agency on Thursday.

According to the State Seismological Centre, the earthquake was recorded at 11.21 local time (07.21 MSK) in the Ili-Kazakh Autonomous Region of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region.

The epicenter was at a depth of 6 km.
