Earthquake of magnitude 5.0 occurred in southern Peru

Earthquake of magnitude 5.0 occurred on Sunday in the region of Ayacucho in southern Peru, the website of the U.S. Geological Survey.
According to seismologists, the tremors have been recorded in 10.49 local time (19.49 MSK). The epicenter was located 22 kilometers north-west of the city Pukuio, Lucanas provincial capital, and 421 km south-east of the capital of Peru, Lima. Hearth lies at a depth 96.7 kilometers.
