Omsk Oil Refinery — subsidiary company "Gazprom Neft", is one of the most modern refineries in Russia and one of the largest in the world.

In 2012 the Refinery increased the volume of oil refining by 5% compared to 2011 — up to 20.95 million tons. The depth of oil processing in 2012 was 88.83%, the rate is one of the best in the industry. In 2012, "Gazprom Neft-Omsk Refinery" produced 4.7 million tons of gasoline. The share of high-octane gasoline — 88%. Production of gasoline 4 and 5 environmental grades increased to 2.38 million tonnes, more than 30 times higher than in 2011.

The decision to build the first in Omsk in Siberia Oil Refinery has been accepted by the Government of the USSR in 1949. Creating a center of Western Siberia such enterprise was necessary to ensure full fuel and lubricants, the region and the neighboring Urals, Kazakhstan and other territories. The raw material for the steel processing oil from the fields of Bashkortostan.

5 September 1955 launched the first wave of atmospheric-vacuum system of the Omsk refinery. This day is celebrated every year birthday of the plant.

In the first decade of the Omsk refinery was built more than 50 processing plants. First, the plant annually processes 3 million tons of raw materials mined in Bashkiria, and since 1964 the company started to receive Siberian oil. She drove river tankers, and then let the pipeline "Ust-Balik — Omsk." The opening of the Tyumen oil fields has given a new impetus to the development of the enterprise and made it a leader refining.

At all stages of the history of the Omsk refinery factory introduced advanced technology was the development of production facilities, construction of new facilities, reconstructed old. Plant opened new perspectives to the development of a catalytic cracking unit, which improved the quality of motor fuels and significantly increase their production. Commissioning and subsequent reconstruction of the combined unit CDU VDU 6M capacity of 6 million tons of oil per year were given the opportunity to increase recycling and to expand the list of products manufactured at the Omsk refinery.

In 1983 he was introduced to the work of the complex for the production of aromatic hydrocarbons, whose products are in demand not only in the domestic market but also overseas. Due to launch in 2001 a new sulfuric acid alkylation unit 25/12 LFS switched to production of unleaded gasoline and one of the first in Russia to produce gasoline "Super 98". In 2005, the completed reconstruction of reforming L-35/11-1000 capacity of 1 million tons per year, which provided the modern process of catalytic reforming with continuous catalyst regeneration. Was modernized and other technological facilities.

Type of process units is impressive!
