7.7-magnitude earthquake occurred in western Canada

MOSCOW, Oct. 28 — RIA Novosti. Earthquake of magnitude 7.7 occurred on Sunday morning, Moscow time, in the western Canadian province of British Columbia, the site says the U.S. Geological Survey.

Earthquakes have been recorded at 20.04 local time on Saturday (Sunday, 04.07 MSK). The epicenter was located at 139 kilometers south of the village on the island of Mussett Graham.

The earthquake lies at a depth of 9.9 kilometers.

Data on possible damages on yet been received.
