A huge sinkhole in Suwanee County, Florida

In recent years, Florida has suffered greatly from the rain tropical storm Debbie. Many craters formed throughout.

This particular sinkhole formed on pasture Matukaytisa Chuck (Chuck Matukaitis) in Suwanee County (Suwannee County), Florida.

Chuck said that the area was flooded, but the water quickly disappeared after the formation of failure.

According to geologists, the pit was formed because, under pasture was an underground spring, karst. As soon as the ground is wet — and it failed.

This failure appears much larger than most of the ones I've seen lately. It seems that the well is 12 meters deep.
