Devised a way to search for the fallen sun black holes

Scientists have proposed a way to search for low mass black holes formed soon after the Big Bang (the so-called primordial black holes), and facing the sun. Black hole is an object whose mass is so great that they do not release myself from even radiation. Accordingly, the direct observation of black holes can not be — that they exist, scientists tried, in particular, the services they gravitational effects.

The most common types of black holes — this supermassive black holes, which are located in the center of many galaxies, and black holes of stellar mass produced during the collapse of stars. However, many hypotheses predict that in the early stages of the universe could be formed, and the smaller black holes whose mass is comparable, for example, with a mass of asteroids.

In theory, black holes of modest size can be observed, focusing on the services they microlensing effect or recording gamma-ray bursts, which are created in the "dying" hole. However, so far the use of these approaches yielded significant results.

The authors of the new paper, a new method of searching for small black holes with a mass comparable to the mass medium asteroid (about 10 21
grams). In their calculations, scientists have shown that the collision of black holes with the Sun star begins to vibrate slightly at supersonic speeds. With modern equipment, these vibrations can be fixed, not only for the sun, but other stars (collision of a black hole is to the sun is a rare event). The authors note that the evidence of the characteristic vibrations can be found in the data already collected — they could be overlooked by astronomers, since up to now no one specifically looking for such vibrations.

Recently, another group of researchers suggested more exotic way to search for primordial black holes — scientists have postulated the existence of so-called gravitational atoms — microscopic objects, which are based on a miniature black hole. Find such atoms can be emitted by their characteristic radiation.
