Earthquake of magnitude 6.4 occurred on Friday in eastern India, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

According to seismologists, the epicenter of the earthquake was located near the border of India and Myanmar 85 kilometers northeast of the city of Imphal — the administrative center of the Indian state of Manipur. Hearth tremors occur at depths 88 kilometers.

No casualties or damage were reported.
