Forest fires in southern California led to the evacuation of thousands of tourists

Several thousand tourists were evacuated from the national park in the south of the U.S. state of California due to a large forest fire, reported Monday by the Associated Press.

Currently, the fire covered an area of 283 hectares. A huge cloud of smoke can watch residents of Los Angeles.

According to a Forest Service fire started around noon on Sunday near the tent camp. Currently, the fire fighting about 200 firefighters in extinguishing the fire involved aircraft.
