On crop areas near the villages Shiharh, Hasangaya the rise of pests. These insects, called the Moroccan locust, mostly attacking the grain warehouses.

Told APA Division IV Terter on Agriculture, in connection with a timely combating these pests this year, compared to previous years, the damage done by insects, not so serious.

Breeding for a short time, these pests feed, along with different types of vegetation, manure and other waste. And their activity is dependent on the activity of the sun. Waking up early in the morning the insects are moving towards the sun and can in the first half of the day, the average estimates, destroy vegetation length of 3 km. During the second half of the day they depart for 1 km, to prepare for the next day. The most active period for breeding are June and July.
