In Indonesia, an earthquake of magnitude 5.9


29.05.11.K south-west of the Indonesian island of Sumatra on Sunday, an earthquake of magnitude 5.9, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

Hearth tremors occur at a depth of about 10 km. The epicenter was located at a distance of 440 km from the city Benkulu and 587 km from the capital of Indonesia — Jakarta.

Information on casualties or damage, as well as the possibility of a tsunami has not been received.
