Some people warn that Nibiru, also known as the Twelfth Planet or Planet X, is rapidly approaching the Earth, which could cause a global catastrophe. Publication of the book of Zechariah Sitchin's "The Twelfth Planet" in 1976 caused a lot of controversy. In this edition, and his subsequent books Sitchin presented his literal translations of ancient Sumerian texts which told an incredible story about the origins of humankind on planet Earth — a fantastic story, very different from what we learned in school.Ancient cuneiform — the earliest known written documents — tells the story of race of beings called the Anunnaki. According to the Sumerian texts, translated by Sitchin, the Anunnaki came to Earth from the planet Nibiru, located in our solar system.Nibiru's orbit around the Sun is very short. Therefore, it requires 3,600 years to complete one orbital rotation. And its gravitational effects in the case of moving the planets close to the inner solar system, can change the orbits of other planets, disrupt the asteroid belt and become a big problem for the Earth.A bit of historyThe history of the Anunnaki is told in Sitchin's many books and discussed on dozens of websites. Essentially, this is a story about how some 450 000 years ago Alale — deposed ruler of the Anunnaki on Nibiru — escaped from the planet on a spaceship and found refuge on Earth. He discovered that the earth a lot of gold, which Nibiru needed to protect its diminishing atmosphere. But after the Anunnaki started to mine gold of the earth between them became increasingly emerging political battle for power. Then about 300,000 years ago, the Anunnaki decided to create a race of workers genetically manipulating the primates on Earth. The result was the emergence of a "reasonable person" — earthling. Ultimately, the reins were handed over to the Earth people. But the Anunnaki left the planet. Sitchin ties all this (and much more) with the stories contained in the Bible and the history of other ancient cultures, especially Egyptian.Of course, most historians, anthropologists and archeologists consider it all Sumerian myth. But Sitchin's work has created a diehard supporters and staff of researchers who are confident in the veracity of these data. And some of them, the ideas are attracted wide attention due to the Internet, claim that the return of Nibiru is close — perhaps somewhere between now and 2013!Where is Nibiru and when it will arrive?Even leading astronomers have long speculated about what might be an unknown planet — Planet X — is somewhere beyond the orbit of Pluto. This could explain the anomalies that they found in the orbits of Neptune and Uranus: some unseen body seems to attract them. Of the discovery reported in the release of New York Times for June 19, 1982. Astronomers have been so sure of the existence of this planet, which called it "Planet X — the tenth planet."The anomalous body was first defined IRAS (Infrared Astronomical Satellite) in 1983. The existence of Nibiru supporters contend that IRAS, in fact, defined the wandering planet. After that, in the press, one after the other articles began to appear on the big comic unstudied object that orbits the Sun.Mark Hezelvud, which has a large website warning about the impending arrival of Nibiru and how we should prepare for it, suggests that this news will give credence to the existence of Nibiru (although none of the articles did not say that a celestial body is sent to the the ground).Andy Lloyd is not as pessimistic. He believes that Nibiru was actually the Star of Bethlehem, which people saw 2000 years ago. Therefore, in his opinion, at least another 50 generations of humans should not be afraid of a collision with this celestial body. What effect will Nibiru to Earth? In fact, the Anunnaki story says that a previous appearance of Nibiru has provoked "The Flood", which reads the Gospel, and in which the planet was lost almost all life. Looking even further back centuries, some researchers believe that Nibiru is already faced with the Earth millions of years ago, creating the asteroid belt and resulting in a huge semi-circular "potholes" in the surface of our planet, which now fill the oceans.According to Hezelvuda, floods, earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, changes in the poles and other natural disasters triggered by the approach of Nibiru, are so severe that, "only a few hundred million people will survive." Another site says that the gravity of Nibiru might even stop the rotation of the earth for three days, citing the "three days of darkness" predicted in the Bible. Some of the Nibiru researchers also cite the prophecies of Edgar Cayce who predicted that we will soon transfer the monumental Earth changes and changes in the pole, although he did not attribute them to anything as specific as we are closing in on the planet. Do not forget about carefully studied the Mayan calendar, which says that the "doomsday" will come in December 2012.Astronomers and other scientists who would seem to be aware of this best of all, do not make announcements until the approach to the Earth of the body, the size of a planet. Obviously, they found nothing. However, those who believe Nibiru is approaching, consider that, in fact, scientists know all about it, but they hide the truth from us.But, in any case, time will put everything in its place.
