Novosibirsk airport passenger traffic grew by 15% in 4 months in 2013

In the first four months of 2013 Airport Novosibirsk (Tolmachevo), according to preliminary data, served 1,005,934 passengers, an increase of 15.1% over the same period of 2012. The number of passengers on domestic routes was 575,019 persons (+4.8%), and international — 430,915 people (32.4%).


In April 2013, passenger traffic at the airport has increased by 17.3% compared to the same period last year and amounted to 264,642 persons. On domestic flights served 156,519 passengers (+6.8%), and international — 108 123 people (36.9%).

Strong growth of passenger traffic allowed Tolmachevo meet the first millionth passenger in 2013 on April 30, 20 days earlier than in 2012.

In January-April, the airport supported the completion of 5,697 sorties (+6.6% yoy). In April 1518 sorties carried out, which is 8.7% higher than in 2012.

Within four months of 2013 processed 9,047 tons of cargo and mail (11%), including in April — 2,849 tons (+23%).

International Airport Novosibirsk (Tolmachevo)— The largest air hub in the Urals on key transit routes between Europe and Asia. Bandwidth on domestic flights — 1,800 passengers per hour, international — 750 passengers. The airport has two runways.In 2013, plans to serve 3.7 million passengers and 35,000 tons of cargo and mail.
