Based on the facial features of the new Department of Defense in the near future will put the problem in the development of a competitive environment in a line of new machines based on universal platforms, and we want to get a new four-wheel drive car that will take its rightful place in the tactical and operational level. Will it really be the development of "Mustang" or "rail car", it all depends on sitting here teachers and students.
According to the second thesis — training and practice. I want to dedicate my speech to the new type. One and a half years she was born, one and a half years was consistent, year and a half passed through the thorns, and we are strictly working on it, in which science and the automotive industry has been given the task of assimilating into the national all-wheel-drive vehicle technology the most advanced achievements of the foreign car industry, while maintaining the traditional benefits of the domestic automotive technology. Based on the research was justified type military vehicles for the period up to 2020. This is our road map, and he will go all the technical tasks. The main difference of the facial features from all the previous is the inclusion of a new type of military vehicles — protected vehicles for which we have the most critical gap from their foreign counterparts.
Based on the analysis of combat losses of personnel, equipment of military operations of the last decade, the study of foreign experience in the creation and use of armored vehicles, their combat capabilities and the means to detect and defeat the enemy, and based on the available scientific and technical potential in Russia developed the concept of integrated protection of armored wheeled military vehicles for the period up to 2020.
The second policy document to date with the projected capacity of the domestic auto industry in the implementation of the future requirements of the Minister of Defence to the level of the basic tactical and technical requirements of military vehicles — the current system of common technical requirements (OTT) supplemented with reference to a new type of security vehicle.

The development of a family of "The Bear" has revealed the need for a fundamentally new approach to the creation of protected vehicles. The result is that just two years ago, the retreat of the report, in a competitive environment, we have issued two technical tasks before worked OTT and finished concept.
Two technical reference for the development of "protected vehicles," which are very necessary and critical demand in the military. In the competitive environment of the two design offices, two manufacturing plants in the initiative order, using the full power of their potential and the latest developments abroad, have created mock-way designs, which were presented to the management of the Ministry of Defence of the Russian Federation, and received the approval of the Supreme Commander. This is the first time a unique process and practice ahead of theory and design documents. And today decided that all costs associated with the development of the Ministry of Defence buys cars, while two projects were open — OCD Typhoon, which you have read in the press. OCD is called Typhoon U — it's Ural Typhoon K &D is a Kamaz.
For the first time into a state contract, the money allocated for the development of the line of cars on these versatile platforms. We demanded in these projects create for the armed forces with Typhoon 4×4, with a level of protection equivalent to or superior to NATO vehicles, vehicles with 6×6 vehicles and 8×8 and 10×10 elaborate further. The development of protected wheeled vehicles is based on an aggregate of modern element base, and military-technical aspect associated with the development of automobile platforms. And here we go with the problems of the power plant, electronically controlled, hydraulic mechanical transmission with automatic control, independent controlled hydropneumatic suspension, on-board information and control system, composite armor, mine-protected boestoykimi wheels, a highly effective means of tracking the terrain, modern facilities life support.
The legislative part of the fleet of military vehicles is
determined by evidence-based facial features, we're talking about, which is a limited list of standard and future military vehicles, mandatory for use by all departments to be ordered, the choice of base vehicle chassis for installation of advanced equipment. The main task of facial features provided — to ensure the fullest satisfaction of the needs of the armed forces in the automotive engineering minimum number of samples. Another distinctive feature of the new facial features to be introduced in 2012, is the creation of advanced automotive platforms for the installation of the newly created weapons and military equipment. It is programs such as Typhoon, the program and the program of the Arctic Platform.

The need to achieve parity in the near future on a technological level of domestic and foreign military vehicles, automotive and industrial science require a large number of professionals who are prepared in the walls of the famous Moscow State Technical University "MAMI". I would like to draw particular attention to the combined power plant. This is the first problem for the armed forces. This is just a small list of what we actually encounter in creating new machines.
