Severe weather swept through the south-east U.S.

Severe weather, followed by a tornado swept through the southeast United States on Wednesday, killing one person and injuring at least four. Four people were injured in Mississippi, but their injuries were not critical. Tornadoes caused "significant damage" to buildings and parks near Opelika, Alabama. Broken trees, damaged homes and buildings, power outages were reported in the northern, central and western Alabama and Georgia, including metro Atlanta, because of the strong winds and tornadoes.
