Shoigu said a sharp rise of major natural disasters in the world

Natural disasters began to occur in the world more often than beforeseven major emergencies that occur once in a thousand years, there have been only one year,
and it makes the science and law enforcement agencies to create new rescue equipment and technology, said Emergency Situations Minister Sergei Shoigu, Russia, opening on Tuesday the international salon "Integrated Safety — 2011" All-Russian Exhibition Centre.

"Over the past year and a half on the planet, a number of major events — the seven major disasters, the frequency of which once in a thousand years. But they all fit in one year," — said Shoigu.

This natural fires in Russia last summer, the catastrophic flooding in Pakistan, freezing rain in winter 2010, in Central Russia, developed into a man-caused natural disaster in Japan last spring, some of the events listed Shoigu.

"All of this makes the science, production, those involved in emergency situations make you move further and further forward in the development of new technologies and techniques," — he said.

In turn, the Minister of Internal Affairs Rashid Nurgaliyev said that threat is global, and thus ensure the safety of the individual, society and the state can only be in the complex.

"Today, the salon we will see new technology, information and communication systems that enable real-time to manage the crisis processes that occur in a given area in a given part of the country," — said the head of the Interior Ministry.

Nurgaliyev said that the interior combines both science and security agencies.

At the salon "Integrated Security", organized by the Ministry of Interior and Ministry of Emergencies, presented 440 exhibitors from 25 countries. Among the exhibits — the new fire suppression systems, Water Rescue, CCTV, domestic and foreign drones used by MOE, the Ministry of Interior and Ministry of Defense of Russia. The opening ceremony was attended Deputy Prime Minister Sergei Ivanov.

"I hope that the majority of the presented systems security will be in demand areas, the subjects of the Russian Federation, foresters, seismologists, pilots, as well as our colleagues from abroad," — said Shoigu.

According to him, May 20, presented at the exhibition equipment will be shown in operation in the work on the demonstration exercise in Noginsk near Moscow.
