The eruption of three volcanoes in Kamchatka threatened aviation

Kamchatka volcano Shiveluch almost an hour on Sunday threw ash to a height of 4200 meters. The first burst of activity lasted 24 minutes, the second time the volcano erupted for 33 minutes, according to the Kamchatka branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences.

With echoes other Kamchatka Shiveluch volcano — Karymsky. For the last day it was about 500 seismic events, plumes from the crater reached 3500 meters above sea level.

The past week has been active for three volcanic peninsula. Besides Shiveluch and Karymsky Kizimen erupting volcano. On some days the ash emissions from its crater reached a height of 10 km, the ash plume went eastward for 760 miles. All three received the volcano orange aviation code. This means that emissions of ash and gas craters were dangerous for the aircraft, which fly over Kamchatka.
