The first 10 tons of tomatoes harvested in the Altai region

In Barnaul and Starobelokurihe started to harvest tomatoes. This season, the Hothouse "Industrial" has grown large-fruited tomatoes and cherry — they can already be seen on the shelves of stores.

"If Barnaul sites to harvest just started, the cleaning of the Smolensk region is from the middle of March," — said the General Directorate of Agriculture of the Altai Territory. And in Starobelokurihe tomatoes were planted for the first time, previously grown here only cucumbers and greens.

Hothouse "Industrial" — the largest in the Urals. The company accounts for over 85% of all produced in the Altai region of greenhouse vegetables. At the plant grow more than 20 kinds of vegetables — from cucumbers to eggplant, celery and basil.
Today, "Industrial" is the largest greenhouse complex in the Urals. Every year there are building and remodeling the production capacity at the plant, the annual reconstruction and modernization and to increase and improve yield. Last year, the complex was commissioned another new greenhouse block type 2 hectares. In total, since 2006, the area of modern greenhouses in the enterprise reached 9 ha.
