WHO: UN underestimated the extent of water shortages

The World Health Organization presented a report which pointed to the lack of attention of the UN to the global shortage of drinking water, noting that weighty share of moisture on the population of poor countries, it may be contaminated.

In March, UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon said that it is impossible to provide 800 million people in the world with clean water suitable for drinking.

WHO experts, in turn, have noticed that not all of the artesian wells installed the necessary quality control.

According to one of the authors of the report, the exact number of people without access to drinking water is difficult to measure, although it can reach almost 4 billion — more than half the world's population.

Well, as soon as the experts on the quality of drinking water will do the job (to establish control), 4 billion could die in a matter of days.

Ha, while in Russia not only that and so much fresh water and control its quality hard place, duck is it to us through the air Mother Nature and delivers and stores.
