Black Sea Fleet Submarine Alrosa makes the transition from Kronstadt to Sevastopol

Diesel submarine (SP) Black Sea Fleet (BSF) "Alrosa" under the command of Captain 2nd Rank Anton Zaytsev made the transition from Kronstadt to the port of registry constant — Sevastopol.

In May and June of last year, "Alrosa" in the squad rescue vessels BSF made a trip to the Spanish port of Cartagena, where he first took part in the international exercise "Bold Monarch-2011" Search and Rescue crews of submarines, and then moved to planned maintenance in Kronstadt.

In the area of ocean submarine rescue tug accompanies the Baltic Fleet SB-921, but in early September in the Spanish port of Ceuta Balts will replace the Black Sea Fleet salvage tug "Shakhtar". It is expected that in Sevastopol "Alrosa" will arrive in the second half of September.

Diesel submarine "Alrosa" was founded May 7, 1988 on the stocks shipyard "Red Sormovo". It was built on the Pilot Project 877V.

In November 1989, the submarine was moved by inland waterways in the Black Sea, and on it was raised by the Naval Flag. In January 2004, the order of the Commander of the Navy submarine was named "Alrosa".
