Montenegro: in the footsteps of climate change

Podgorica — the capital and largest city of Montenegro. Montenegro is located in the south of the Balkan peninsula, connected with the Adriatic Sea. In Podgorica Mediterranean climate with warm, dry summers and mild winters. Podgorica is particularly known for its extremely hot in summer: at temperatures above 40 C. Snow is very, very rare occurrence in Podgorica. This winter, the situation is completely different, especially in the northern part of Montenegro because of the snow.
