Pechenga motorized infantry brigade became part of the Northern Fleet

Pechenga Motorized Infantry Brigade, stationed in the Murmansk region, became part of the Russian Northern Fleet (NF), said on Monday the head of the press service of the Navy Captain First Rank Vadim Serga.

"On 1 December 2012 the military Motorized Rifle Brigade, commanded by Colonel Oleg Tsekov, begin to serve in the Northern Fleet," — said Sergey.

During the event, the reception crew in the fleet commander of the Northern Fleet, Vice Admiral Vladimir Korolev and Head of Coastal Forces FC Major General Andrew Guscin visited the military camp of the said Sergei.
