In Yaroslavl, the signing of the memorandum of association between TGC-2 and China Huadian Corporation for the construction of "Huadian Teninskaya-SS". According to TGC-2 is the first energy project in Russia, which is implemented with the involvement of foreign direct investment.
The estimated cost of the new power station — 20 billion rubles, of which 15 will give the Chinese bank ICBC. The new company will build and maintain the PGU-450 MW thermal power station and will not only solve the problem of energy shortage in the Dzerzhinsky district of Yaroslavl, but also will bring 140 jobs. The company will begin operating in January 2012, and the full launch is planned in 2013.
September 7, 2011 the Governor of the Yaroslavl Region, Deputy Minister of Economic Development A. Klepac and representatives of TGC-2 and China Huadian Corporation solemnly laid the first stone of the new CHP.
