Small plane crashes in Nepal, 18 people were killed


MOSCOW, September 25 — RIA Novosti. In the fall of a small plane crashed Sunday near the airport of the Nepalese capital Kathmandu, killing 18 of 19 people on board, reports AFP referring to representatives of the airport.

Earlier it was reported that on board the Beechcraft turboprop plane were 16 foreign tourists. The plane, owned by Buddha Air, made sightseeing flight near Mount Everest.

As reported by the Associated Press referring to the rescue plane crashed a few kilometers from the capital Kathmandu airport during landing. The reasons for the fall were not disclosed, but during the landing at the airport was a heavy fog.

In addition, the rescuers managed to extract from the rubble of one man — he was hospitalized, his condition is not reported.

Witness to the tragedy told a local television station Avenues Television, the plane touched the roof of a house located in the south of the airport village.
