Tornado hit the Hawaiian island of Oahu

Tornado struck several towns on the island of Oahu Hawaiian archipelago, damaging infrastructure, reports on Saturday broadcaster NBC.

Powerful vortex with gusts to 112 kilometers per hour lasted only 30 minutes near the village Enchanted Lake and Lanikai. During this time, the tornado was about three kilometers, breaking trees, awnings and roofs of houses. According to preliminary data, no one was hurt.

In the last week on the Hawaiian islands, famous for clear and sunny weather is stormy cyclone, due to heavy rains and thunderstorms schools are closed. In some mountainous areas, landslides occurred. The islands are power failures. As noted by the TV channel because of the weather, some tourists canceled vacation in Hawaii.
