TROOPS aerospace defense RECEIVE 20 new radars

Radio engineering units Troops Aerospace Defense (ASD) in 2013 will have to adopt about 20 new radars of different modifications. This was reported in the press release of the Ministry of Defence.
 
According to the department website, troops ASD receive radar «Gamma-S» (Pictured), «Sky-Y», «approaching-K» also modernized radars «Desna», «Caste» and others.
 
Radar will be used to review the data detection zones, automatically capture, tracking and target selection for the next transmission disk imaging antiaircraft missile systems, as state ownership identification purposes. Radars will be able to immediately detect up to 100 targets of different classes, including airplanes, helicopters, drones, and missiles at a distance of 400 km in small, medium and huge altitudes.
 
Previously reported the Defense Ministry plans to upgrade radars troops ASD by 70 percent by 2020.
