Wat Rong Khun
This white church, built in the province of Chiang Rai, is the pride of not only local residents, but also the whole of Thailand. Construction of the temple of Wat Rong Khun (orig. Wat Rong Khun), which began in 1998, is managed by one of the most famous and talented artists of the country — Kositpipat Chalermchay.
Together with his assistant and brother Paketlatom Chalermchaem, who is the chief engineer of the temple, Kositpipat Chalermchay created a completely unique work of art for their money. At the moment the artist spent on the construction of more than a few million dollars.
The temple has gained popularity and began to look so solemn and majestic, not only because of its unusual sugar flowers for the church, its main draw is the incredibly beautiful interior and exterior designs. Alabaster sculpture mirror, with which completely covered the entire surface of the temple and the area around it, frescoes, patterned windows and the sharp peaks — all around excites and breathtaking. The motives of Heaven and Hell, the eternal confrontation between Light and Darkness are reflected in each figure, every movement and element. All this is done by the hands Kositpipata Chalermchaya and his brother, in all this there is a particle of the soul and the love of his hard business.
