A small plane crashed in the residential areas in the suburbs of Delhi


26/05/2011, 7:25:48 Delhi small single-engine plane Pilatus PC-12 crashed last night on residential neighborhoods in Faridabad — a suburb of the Indian capital New Delhi. Crash occurred after the board lost contact with the control center at the airport in New Delhi.

As a result of the crash, killing at least 10 people — seven people on board, and troie residents of the affected area. Police Commissioner Faridabad P.K.Aggarval said "Xinhua" that another person was wounded, but the number of victims could rise.

The plane made a flight to Delhi from Patna and carried a sick patient in one of the capital's hospitals on special treatment. The plane crashed into two houses in the densely populated area of Faridabad. The collapse caused a fire in the neighboring houses, the wreckage scattered in the surrounding streets. To carry out the rescue operation on the scene arrived 20 fire brigades.

According to dispatchers, the tragedy could be pilot error, which lost control of a single-engine airplane in high wind conditions. This sent a plane into a steep dive, ending collision with the ground.
