Approaches to the understanding of the aura

16.04.2013

Information about the aura came to us from the ancient times. If we make a digression into the past, we find a lot of evidence that in all parts of the world have studied the existence of a substance or spiritual emanation which surrounds the human body.

The man was close to nature and the degree of development of the senses often depended on his life. There have also been sharpened and super-sensible abilities that allow them to perceive the subtle energies of the worlds. Just go to the folk tales legends, to be sure. However, the legend without confirmation are only legends. Let's try to find confirmation in these ancient religions and teachings of different nations.

Let's start with the teachings of Indian yogis. In the classic text on Raja Yoga "Yoga Sutra" Patanjali mentions not only the existence of subtle bodies, but also on how to develop the ability to see them. Other authors, yoga provides a detailed classification of energy fields and their relation to the various functions and organs. In various areas of yoga are different methods of learning abilities vision aura.

In ancient China, there are also many different areas and systems improvement. For example, the Taoist school, where great attention was paid to the so-called inner work, that is, the development of their energy body and mastery of psychic powers.

Have their own interpretation of the structure of the energy of the body and in the pagan religions. A striking illustration of this is the practice shamanism interest to psychotechniques which consistently appears in the mid-60s of the twentieth century.

The most interesting thing that had knowledge of the aura and our ancestors who lived in the Russian lands. The modern researcher magicians — mazykov (ethnic Russian, the descendants of Vladimir Volga Ofen) — A.Shevtsov, a psychologist and anthropologist, gives them a view of the aura of the device and the man: "… in the space of consciousness is called mazykov — Okutanka, which is located around the man. In this space, all the information is stored. This is such a bubble of consciousness that envelops our whole body. Its outer boundary is at the elbow away from the body, and it can grope hand, if the sum relaxed hand to her. "

In general, how would we not about religion, it must be noted that in its foreign orthodoxy hidden the true values, in particular as regards the spiritual development of man. And in all global religions can be traced direct analogy. If we consider a Christian (in particular, it concerns the Orthodox), a Buddhist, and Hindu iconography lamaist, we notice a lot of similarities, for example, in the image of a halo around the head of a saint. In addition, the formulation of the principles of hands, posture (especially Buddhist and Orthodox icons) corresponds to the teachings of the closure of the energy channels or mudras.

Almost all religions focuses on the crown of the human head, which corresponds to the tradition of yogis finding a higher power organ of the body — the chakra Sahasrara. Let us discuss this in more detail.
Despite these coincidences as the presence of the glow around the head and matching colors are mainly in the image of the saints in different religions, yet the question arises: why, along with a picture of the aura of the whole body all the way around (and there are such traditions in the iconography), most images are limited to a halo around his head? Naturally, the aura of the correct form in itself speaks of a harmonious personality, especially around the head glow more intensely than around the body. There is also a correspondence between the colors of the aura and the degree of spiritual perfection and development of the different qualities that affects the color of the halo.

Popularizer and researcher in the field of magic and parapsychology A.Troyanovsky early twentieth century believed that a halo — it's just iconic symbol for the incarnate (ie, had been transferred from a past life) spirituality. Chances are true and that is another point of view. That is, the presence of a halo around his head, other than belonging to the spiritual leaders of mankind, is the symbol of the icon-painting, absorbs all the positive quality of the image that is reflected in the color of the halo.
But not only yoga and religious groups have been studying this issue. In 1840, Baron Karl von Reichenbach, a German industrialist and chemist has put a series of experiments, which were attended by people who can see energy fields around objects.
Karl von Reichenbach called them sensitives. In general, the experiments were carried out with the vision of the fields around the magnets and crystals. Fields seen as a glow and called odic force. North Pole emitted blue light, and the South — yellow and red. The blue glow was called positive Odom, corresponding to emission from the top of the quartz crystal and the left side of the body, and the yellow-red — negative Odom, corresponding to emission from the bottom of the crystal, and the right side of the body. By 1856, Karl von Reichenbach, conducted experiments with 197 sensitives, 50 of whom were physicians, physicists, chemists and philosophers. A report on these experiments was published in a respectable German Yearbook "Annals of Chemistry", there were also placed photos taken by blowing out the photographic plate Odom, the outcome of the fingers sensitives.

A large contribution to the visualization of the human aura by electrical charges made by our compatriot, a renowned scholar of the late nineteenth century, Jacob Ottovich Narkevitch-Juodka. In 1891, he opened the way to visualize the aura with an electric charge, based on the ability of an electric current passing in the emulsion layer, leaving a visible trace of the manifestation. This way, Jacob Ottovich Narkevitch-Juodka, called Electrography. In the fifth issue of the magazine in 1898 "Photographer — amateur" wrote: "withered leaf and leaf lively give different imprints on the plate, arms and hands healthy human subject paralytic produce on the plate very different picture." It was about the photographs submitted by JO Narkevitch-Juodka the fifth photographic exhibition in St. Petersburg. They have done quite a lot of pictures that illustrate the different state of the human body in different situations. Engaged in similar research B.Navratil Czech physicist, F.Nifer American, German V.Tsapek. A Czech scientists S.Pret D.Shlemmer and repeated the experiments V.Tsapeka and F. Nifer then suggested an ionic nature of the radiation, though not excluding an unknown species of radiation that can accompany the discharge process.

In 1949 he received the first Kirlians's certificate for high-frequency picture. S.D.Kirlian and his wife V.H.Kirlian experimenting for many years, have created a range of special equipment for the high-shooting, chances are several orders of magnitude higher devices Narkevich-Juodka. Still, in all these cases we are not dealing with the image of some of the layers of the aura, and the visualization of her with an electrical charge. This brief historical review allows us to trace the origins of modern practical aurologii.
Despite the fact that the question of studying the aura has a fairly long history, different schools represent the structure of the aura and image in different ways.
Let us briefly examine some of the concepts.

1. Aura, according to the ideas of Karl von Reichenbach
The peculiarity of his views is the focus on one property aura — polarity. Karl von Reichenbach argued that the aura has a clear two-color, ie blue light (positive Aude), corresponding to emission from the top of the quartz crystal and the left side of the body and the yellow-red (negative Aude) corresponds to the emission from the bottom of the crystal, and the right side of the body.

2. Presentation biopopolya as the etheric body and the aura
In this case, the notion of "aura" includes all energy fields, conditionally accepted for a united energy field. Despite the fact that this view is not certain, however, it is most applicable in cases of specific tasks, such as medical diagnosis aural.

3. The idea of the aura as a set of ethereal, astral and mental fields (tel)
This point of view is a simplified model of the overall concept of the aura, which will be discussed below. This view is quite widespread, especially in some occult traditions.

4. Octal tradition. The theory of the human body
Discuss it in more detail. According to this theory, man is composed of eight bodies:
1.Physical body (rupa).
2.Efirnoe body (linga sarira).
3.Astralnoe body (kama rupa evestrum, astroid).
4.Mentalnoe body (Manas, the body of thought, anima, psyche
5.Karmicheskoe body (body Nagual causal body, the causal).
6.Intuitivnoe body (Bodhi).
7.Telo Nirvana (Atma, the spirit).
8.Telo Absolute.

Let us consider each of these bodies:
1. The physical body
Is the basis of our physical existence. On the spiritual side of life affects the physical body only in the sense that the physical health — a necessary condition for the development of psychic powers and allows us for the hard work realized in our higher purpose.
2. The etheric body
Is an exact replica of the physical body, but has a more subtle ethereal matter. On this basis, it is sometimes called the etheric double. The etheric body is a transfer station between the physical and astral bodies. Its boundaries are separated from the boundaries of the physical body by an average of 1 to 1.5 cm, and there may be a bluish-gray haze. Over the air emission can judge the viability of the person as the etheric body changes significantly changing the physical state. Throughout his life, the etheric body is the restorer of the physical body. G.Dyurvil, M.Haydel, A. Besant admit that the etheric body may temporarily leave the physical body.
3. The astral body
Has more subtle energy structure than the air. It is transparent and colored with different colors. The astral body can be released from the physical and sometimes even visible when a certain degree of fitness. It permeates the physical body and surrounds it in the form of aura, on average, extending a few feet beyond the physical. The color scheme of the astral body varies according to the condition of the person. It is believed that it monitors the status of all the functions and systems of the physical body. G.Dyurvil indicates that it is the abode of "sensitivity, imagination, and animal passions …". It thinks, but more sensual than rationally.
4. The mental body
The mental body or "body of thought" has an egg shape, runs through the astral and physical bodies and forms a sparkling, glowing aura. Its dimensions are extremely variable and are up to several meters. Mental energy in the human brain produces thought. With the help of mental energy, he analyzes, compares, summarizes, draws conclusions. A.Troyanovsky calls the mental body the abode of will and thought. Here's how it describes A. Besant: "… its particles are moving fast, which gives it the look of a living, shimmering with different colors of light: and inasmuch as intelligence becomes more developed and has been all the more pure and lofty themes, the beauty of this is more radiant and delicious. " According G.Dyurvilyu, the mental body is the abode of the will and mind. In this body stores all the memories and lessons we are learning.
(This is the "rational soul," the ancient, "Anima" by the ancient Romans, "Psyche" by the Greeks).
5. Karmic body
D.Huan Carlos Castaneda and describe it as egg-shaped body with a center emanating from the solar plexus. P.Uspensky believes that "… it causes the body contains within itself all the action, it is independent from external causes, and is the body of the will." Raja Yoga Teachings at the heart associated with the work on this body. It is believed that the karmic body contains both a memory of all the past actions of a person and what is now called hereditary memory — the memory of past lives.
6. Intuitive body
Intuitive human body is above the mere intellect and gives the person an inspiration. Vision intuitive and other subtle bodies above the mental, according to most sources, it is impossible. It is believed that human intuition depends on the development of the body, as it concentrates in itself all the higher unconscious processes. It is also the body of super-consciousness. Theosophists attribute it to this body to be constant communication with the Universal Mind.
7. The body of Nirvana
Because of this there is a complete fusion of the body "I" of man with the universe. Here the merging of subject and object, and everything becomes one. According to Tantrism body Nirvana creates the possibility of permanent union with the truth and you can enjoy the comprehensive sense of love and bliss. A.Ghosh indicates that the body of Nirvana as it dissolves into the cosmic consciousness and carries it within himself. Modern Theosophists believe that due to the most subtle matter, the body of Nirvana can penetrate and be interconnected with all the other worlds.
8. The body of the Absolute
It is this body is a complete analogue of the "soul" and integrator of all the seven bodies of man. According to leading Theosophists, the energy of the body is composed of a set of energies of all the other bodies. All sources indicate a mandatory proportion to the development of other bodies and the inability to extract information "Absolute Body" from space without the comprehensive development of the basic seven bodies.
According to this concept, the visible part of the aura is composed of astral and mental bodies. Essential is the body itself does not refer to the aura.

In addition to these, there are other types of classification of the structure of the aura, but most of them are either a different interpretation of the consideration, or part of them. Some sources consider the aura of a person in a very different tradition. Difference of opinions due, in part, as follows: first, the difference between the levels of vision, ie a person's ability to see the aura, depending on the degree of fitness and natural data (these factors are different for different people), and secondly, the difference in the tradition of considering the aura, ie the basic idea of the philosophical views a particular direction or a particular school, giving a respective interpretation of the vision and which is a kind of filter through which all information is passed, and thirdly, the different objectives pursued by different schools and different people considering an aura either in terms of diagnosis or to the study of moral or spiritual qualities.

Naturally, this has led many researchers of all varieties to choose only the interesting factors that often distorts the overall objective picture. For these reasons, there is often confusion in terminology. Often, the same term refers to a completely different concept. For example, the term "astral" in yogic and occult traditions are different concepts.
To indicate the power of human bodies at various times offered different names: aura, aura, bioplast … In our opinion, the term "aura" is unacceptable if only because of the fact that the energy-field is not confined to biological objects, but also objects of non-biological nature. Moreover, strictly speaking, the term "aura" can only be associated with the energy bodies, which refer to the immediate human life, ie physical and, to some extent, etheric, but in any case can not represent all the energy-structure.

To sum up, we can say that the aura is formed by all the shells and depends on the person's physical, emotional, mental and spiritual states.
