According to seismologists, the activity of Etna, expressed this time only in the release of volcanic "bombs" (large stones) and large amounts of ash, was recorded in the south-east of the crater on Monday night.
The most active emissions of between one to three minutes occurred between midnight and two o'clock in the morning (02.00-04.00 MSK). Large volcanic "bomb" took off at this time of the crater to a height of several tens of meters. By about 06.00 am (08.00 MSK) significantly decreased activity of the volcano, but did not stop completely.
