In Bolivia, an earthquake of magnitude 6.2


Sucre, November 22. Earthquake of magnitude 6.2 occurred in the department of Beni in northern Bolivia.

As the website of the U.S. Geological Survey, the epicenter of the earthquake that occurred at 14:48 local time (21:48 MSK), located 60 km south-west of the city of Trinidad, the earthquake lies at a depth of 533.3 km.

The possible casualties or damage were reported. Tsunami threat was not announced.

Recall, October 22, an earthquake of magnitude 4.9 occurred today, 400 kilometers south of the administrative capital of Bolivia, La Paz, in the department of Potosi on the border with Chile.

Tremors were recorded at 15:02 MSK. The epicenter was located 195 kilometers west of the town of Uyuni at depth 117 kilometers.
