15.11.11. "Stripped" scanners at airports will be the European Union. True, any passenger can refuse to submit to the control unit, which allows to see through clothes.
In return, it will be offered personal inspection by security personnel. New standards for airports has developed the European Commission. The so-called "stripped" scanners are already used in Denmark, the UK, Germany, Belgium and the Netherlands — they are allowed by local laws. In other EU countries, new items will appear in the next month.
