The following table provides information on the approximate number of Air Force for 2020 year, under the contracts for the modernization and construction of the aircraft at the current time.

Training aviation:

Yak-130 — 65 units. (Plan 2015)
Total 1,210 aircraft of which 580 — the newest buildings and 650 — modernized.
To this figure can be attributed at least another 300 aircraft of various types, which will be in service in 2020. These are the planes that were built before 2008, they include the VTA aircraft that can fly for 40 years (most importantly fit to undergo major repairs), distant aviation aircraft that do not fall under the modernization, but were renovated, planes built in the '90s and the beginning of "zero" as well as the aircraft, which were suspended, and apply to flights.
To all this, you can add other aircraft, which is expected to buy up to 2020. This contract, which at the time in 2012 have not been concluded and are expected at this time. Most, in my opinion, the expected large new contract for the supply of aircraft should be expected in 2015, it is possible upgrading of IL-76, MiG-29, IL-38, as well as the extension of the contract for the modernization of the Su-25 and Su-24, a new agreement on the Yak-130 AWACS aircraft (A-100), air tankers, aircraft Sou-30 and MiG-29 aircraft of various modifications, MiG-35, T-50 (PAK FA), the An-140 and other aircraft, the total number of which will be around 500 units.
So Makarov, one can imagine the approximate number of aircraft in service with the Russian Air Force by 2020 — about 2,000 LA surely less than we had at the end — 1990 half, but still, 12 years have re such numbers — this is a big step forward!
In conclusion I would like to add that this figure may be more, and perhaps less. Everything will depend on the ability of our military-industrial complex. That will still be in the end — time will tell.
