30,000 people without electricity near Arkhangelsk


MOSCOW, May 12 — RIA Novosti. Around 30,000 people in 118 villages in the Arkhangelsk region were left without electricity due to the accident at the substation, said on Saturday GUMCHS the region.

"Without electricity remain Kholmogorsky towns and districts Pinezhskiy (118 settlements, home to 28,270 people, including 5,430 children), 27 boiler-houses (in 21 are diesel power), 12 schools, 12 kindergartens, three hospitals with non-stop stay," — said in a release.

The line was broken at the substation "Ugzenga." For repair crew went Pinega RES (seven men and two pieces of equipment).
