Helicopter crash in northern Norway


MOSCOW, July 5 — RIA Novosti. The helicopter crashed in the mountains of north-western Norway, the five people on board were killed, said Tuesday the Associated Press reported citing local media.

According to the Norwegian television channel NRK, the helicopter with the pilot and four passengers on board crashed near the town Ullesvang, 85 kilometers east of Bergen — the second largest city of the country.

Although the media have reported the deaths of five people, the head of the local police Geir Gudmundsen (Geir Gudmundsen) told the news agency that at the scene found three bodies, two more people are officially missing.

He noted that rescuers can not yet begin search operation due to heavy fire that started after the accident.
