As of June 3, 2011 examined 116 hectares, inhabited by higher economic threshold and is chemically treated 33 thousand hectares in 19 districts of the region and Novotroitsk.

According to the press service of the administration of Orsk, locusts in 2011, the city came from Kazakhstan. Timely measures allowed farmers to protect their crops.
