Nine settlements in Karelia were without electricity


MOSCOW, December 3 — RIA Novosti. Nine settlements of Karelia with a population of over a thousand people on Saturday were left without electricity, work is underway to restore electricity, the press service of the republican GUMCHS Russia.

In total, according to the Ministry, under the blackouts were 430 houses in four villages Pudozh district and five villages Olonets.

"These settlements are three socially significant facilities (two schools and a kindergarten, they do not work due to the holiday), as well as three polling stations (in all sectors are backup power supply)," — said the agency .
