The production of canned fish has increased by 6.9%

The production of canned fish in January and February 2013 compared to January-February last year increased by 6.9% to 82.6 mln. cans — News agency reported on fisheries with reference to the Federal State Statistics Service. 


Most canned fish produced in the North-Western Federal District (46% or 38 mln. Cans) and the Far Eastern Federal District (37.3% or 30.8 mln. Cans). They accounted for 83.3% or 68.8 mln. cans of the total production of canned fish in Russia. They were followed by the Central District — 12.6% or 10.4 mln. cans, Southern District — 3.5% or 2.9 mln. cans.

Among the regions leading Primorsky Territory (34.6% or 28.6 mln. Cans), Kaliningrad region (34.5% or 28.5 mln. Cans), Ryazan region (5% or 4.1 million conv. cans), Pskov region (4.1% or 3.4 mln. cans), Krasnodar (3.5% or 2.9 mln. cans). In these five regions produced 81.7% or 67.5 million cans.

In the first two months of this year increased the production of canned fish in tomato sauce (8.6% to 14.8 mln. Cans), canned ryboovoschnyh (22.3% to 0.8 mln. Cans), canned Cod liver (2.5-fold to 2.8 mln. cans), canned fish, natural (16.7% to 37.2 mln. cans), and in canned fish in oil production decreased ( 9.7% to 25.8 mln. cans).
