June 18,AEX.RU— As part of the air in the passenger compartment of Le Bourget, a working meeting between the head of the Federal Space Agency Vladimir Popovkin and President of the European Space Agency (ESA), Jean-Jacques Dordain, during which the parties signed an agreement on the allocation of responsibilities for the project "EkzoMars," the press service Roskososa. 

Popovkin and Jean-Jacques Dordain discussed the progress in the research program of Mars, the possibility of cooperation to explore the Moon and near-space robotic means, as well as a joint study of the planets in the Solar System, the report said.

"The two sides also agreed to establish a joint working group to explore the possibility of further collaboration in future projects to study Mars — told the Russian Space Agency. — It is also touched upon the development of cooperation on the International Space Station. "

At the end of the meeting, Vladimir Popovkin and Jean-Jacques Dordain signed a matrix of responsibilities for the mission in 2018 of "EkzoMars" and the Protocol of understanding on the definition of areas of cooperation and the Russian Space Agency ESA lunar exploration by robotic means.
