First export contract for the Ka-62

Russian Helicopters holding company "Helicopters of Russia" (a subsidiary of OPK "Oboronprom") in your own press release, December 14, 2012 said it signed the first export contract for the supply of promising Ka-62 (in the "brand-new form") Brazilian Airlines Atlas Taxi Aereo. The agreement also involves an option to supply an additional 7 helicopters.

Under the terms of the contract, the delivery of the first batch of 2-Ka-62 Brazilian operator to commence in the first quarter of 2015. The agreement also involves an option to supply an additional 7 helicopters Ka-62.

Tests Ka-62 is scheduled to begin in 2013, and by 2015, the holding company "Helicopters of Russia" expects to certify the helicopter for international use, including in Brazil. Under the terms of the agreement entered into with the Atlas Taxi Aereo, holding "Helicopters of Russia", together with its regional partners will accept a role in the development of the service center for after-sales service of helicopters in Brazil.

Atlas Taxi Aereo already operates a medium-sized multi-purpose helicopters Mi-171A1, which were set a year ago. These helicopters are overpowered in the tender Brazilian state oil company Petrobras, and possibly in the future fleet of these helicopters will be increased.
