Russian sports car manufacturer Marussia Motors introduced in the UK market model B1, the sale of which will begin in the UK this summer. According to the publication AutoExpress, the company expects to sell about 250 copies of the car, and the cost of each of them will be 110,000 pounds sterling.
Marussia sports cars are offered with an atmospheric engine capacity of 3.5 liters and output of 300 horsepower, as well as two six-cylinder turbocharged engines, the British company Cosworth, developing 360 and 420 horsepower. The units can be paired with a six-speed automatic transmission. From zero to sixty miles per hour is the most powerful version, a sports car, according to the manufacturer, is able to accelerate in 4.2 seconds and reach a top speed of 250 kilometers per hour.
First sport car company Marussia Motors was introduced in Russia in 2008, and in September 2010 in Moscow, opened a salon for the sale of these cars. The president "Marussia" Nikolay Fomenko reported that already sold 19 cars ready and prepared for about 700 orders.
In addition, this year plans to open two plants in Germany and Belgium, through which Marussia production capacity will increase from 300 to 2,000 cars a year. And the car sets for them will be trained in Russia. In our market, the price of sports cars start at 100,000 euros.
