U.S. Court of Appeals has given scientists permission to examine the skeleton of age, 9.3 thousand years — despite the objections of some Indian tribes. These bones were found teenagers under Kennewick (Washington) in 1996. Representatives of the Indians have expressed a desire to bury the remains of the one they called his distant relative, but scientists say that the unusual features of the skeleton for further study. The judges of the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals (San Francisco) decided that the connection between Indian tribes and the skeleton is not possible. This solution gives scientists the opportunity to thoroughly examine the remains.
