A container with a surprise Club-K

In Asian defense systems exhibition, held in Malaysia bureau "Innovator" presented Russian missile system Club-K, which made think about Western military experts on the rules of war.

The main charm of Club-K: complex looks like a standard 12-foot cargo container used for shipping. However, inside the container is equipped with four cruise ships or land-based ballistic missiles. In this very difficult to find a rocket launcher, only when the complex is activated.

Small container can be mounted on ships, trucks, railroad platform. Because of the excellent camouflage enemy missile system would have to spend much more thorough exploration in planning the attack.

The Pentagon fears that the Russian missile system Club-K will change the global military balance. In the United States believes that if such technology will go into service in Venezuela and, especially, Iran, it could destabilize the world. If Iraq were missile system Club-K in 2003, the U.S. invasion of the Persian Gulf would have been impossible: every cargo ship in the Gulf would represent a potential threat.

Meanwhile, in Russia believe that the U.S. concern is primarily due to the fear of losing profits, and that Moscow is currently less intends to destabilize the security of the world is not going to soon sell Iran any Club-K, or S-300.

Finished versions of the system Club-K have been presented in the international Maritime Defense Show IMDS-2011 (IMDS-2011).
